All Clever Penguin websites are Flash based and will display properly on PC's and Mac's which is how the majority of people browse the net. However apple and some smart phone vendors choose not to support flash on their phones as it is rumoured to sap battery power which is a drawback for mobile devices. We foresee this as a temporary issue as we believe Adobe are working on a 'lighter version' that is less CPU intensive and hence more battery friendly. Flash is very common and is present in many well known sites so Clever Penguin is not alone with this issue.

As Clever Penguin sites have a back end html version to make them search engine friendly we use that as the basis for displaying sites on non flash enabled devices. All Clever Penguin sites will display on iphones and other smart phones that do not support flash so they are be readable, they simply don't include some of the images and the layout is optimised so the site is readable.
